about | wen nag - artist I don’t know if there is a common thread in my images. But I get inspired by music, books and movies with a slightly off-centered look at life. The poetic and the ridiculous. The tragic and the humorous. The absurd and surreal. I bougt my first camera at age 15, and spent a lot of film until my mid-20s. Then I turned my focus to studies and later work – with all that comes with it. The change came with a travel to the Arctic in 2005. Finally I decided to replace my long-time broken camera and since then, I’ve been hooked. Mind you, it comes and goes. But photography and editing is among my absolute favorite things to do. Fairie Hammock is the name of my company as an artist. During office hours, I work as a project director in Telenor Corporate Development. I have previously worked as a journalist and teacher, and have a masters degree in Media & Communication (University of Bergen). I grew up at Solbakk, a small community by the fjord near Stavanger on the Norwegian west coast.
Currently, almost 30 of my images are exhibited at Raahusgruppen, Gange-Rolvsgate 1, Oslo. The doors are open for you to look at the art every Thursday, 2-5 pm. You will also find works by Marlen Langeland Hagen and Stine Mørk Skjelberg.bv Places where my art work have been exhibited: · Raadhusgruppen (Oslo).
